Favorite Places To Sit At WDW: Tiki Room Lanai

Way back in April I shared one of my absolute favorite places to sit, in what was supposed to be a series...and since I hate to be a scoundrel here is part two.   The series was to highlight my most loved places to relax at Walt Disney World, while vacationeers hustled around me.  I love to soak up the atmosphere of these special spots building actual memories, and not running around like a crazy person.  Surprise surprise, this spot is in Adventureland as well...

In between the Sunshine Tree and The Enchanted Tiki Room is the exit to that attraction.  The blatant "exit only" sign is a little bit off putting...but we're not going through any doors.  This my friends is the Tiki Room Lanai.

This open air patio has a long row of plants, which are growing in what is essentially a giant bench.  Though the planter/bench is sometimes wet, it is a terrific place to enjoy a citrus swirl. (I mean, you're right there, so why not?)  The great thing about this spot is that you can admire the sensory overload of Adventureland without being in the sun or in anyones way.
People watching and citrus swirl isn't the only thing to enjoy here!  The gorgeous exit doors of the tiki room are worth noting...PLUS this area has its own background music loop!!!  Made up of breezy Hawaiian tunes, this music loop is the most relaxing thing since The Polynesian beach. You could easily spend an hour here without getting antsy.

The lanai, and surrounding pavilion, are super photogenic! So make sure to take plenty of photos while "relaxing!"

Do you have a favorite place at Disney World to relax at? (besides your hotel room...) Let us know over on Twitter! Or on Facebook!
